Part time -
Positions 

Event Staff

Responsibilities:

​

  • Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs and building stages.

  • Working as ushers and ensuring that seating arrangements adhere to fire code regulations.

  • Working under the instructions of an Event Manager or planner.

  • Ensuring the event hall is clean and organized.

  • Adhering to event safety standards.

  • Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

  • Setting up lighting and sound equipment.

  • Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.

  • Packing up equipment when the event is completed.

  • Setting up and arranging tablescapes

Event Staff Requirements:

​

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Diligence and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Physical stamina and high energy levels.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to perform under stress.

  • Excellent multitasking ability.

  • Conflict management skills.

  • No experience required

Pay varies per event -starting rate is 20$ per hour

Balloon artist assistant

Responsibilities:

​

  • Blowing up balloons before and during the installation

  • Balloon prep; i.e double stuffing 

  • Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venue installations

  • Working under the instructions of a Lead Balloon artist.

  • Ensuring the event hall is clean and organized after installations.

  • Adhering to event safety standards.

  • Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

  • Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.

  • Packing up equipment when the event is completed

  • Coming back to strike and break down

Balloon Artist Requirements​

​

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Diligence and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Physical stamina and high energy levels.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to perform under stress.

  • Excellent multitasking ability.

  • Conflict management skills.

  • Must have a can-do attitude 

  • Willing to work on your craft during your off days or be willing to meet on an as-needed basis for training

  • Open to constructive feedback

  • Experience is flexible if you are willing to intern/volunteer first

  • Creative

Pay varies per event

Virtual Assistant

Responsibilities:

​

  • Respond to emails and phone calls

  • Schedule meetings

  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns

  • Manage a contact list

  • Prepare customer spreadsheets and keep online records

  • Organize managers’ calendars

  • Perform market research

  • Create presentations, as assigned

  • Address employee's administrative queries

  • Provide customer service as the first point of contact

  • Create and manage social media content

  • Update websites, google profile, and social media as needed

Virtual Assistant Requirements:

​

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Diligence and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role

  • Familiarity with current technologies, like google workspace, cloud services, and google voice 

  • Willing to learn and navigate new technologies

  • Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Office)

  • Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar)

  • Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Administrator or Executive Assistant are a plus

  • 1-2 years experience required

Volunteers
